Back cover: Benefaction was developed in the communities by leading entreprenerus of the diaspora, who lived and served by organising society and their respective communities. Benefactors undertake objectives and functions. They realise a unique journey on their own personal terms, both epic-making and benevolent in serving the common good. For them benefaction means total passion which directs their individual and collective operations. It may be a historical phenomenon, yet benefaction still continues to exist today, mainly in the form of institutional benevolence.
